In the autumn of 2025, Nedmag started its registration with EcoVadis. EcoVadis is the world’s most widely used platform for the independent assessment of a company’s sustainability performance.
After an intensive process involving several departments, the questionnaire was submitted in December. Shortly thereafter, we received congratulations from EcoVadis: Nedmag was awarded a score of 59 out of 100. This places us above the average score of all participating companies, which is a very positive result, especially for a first assessment.
Badge
With justified pride, we present our EcoVadis “Committed” badge.
The EcoVadis assessment is based on an extensive questionnaire covering four themes and 21 criteria. The four themes are environment, labour and human rights, ethics, and sustainable procurement. Criteria include, for example, energy consumption, biodiversity, employee health and safety, diversity, and anti corruption.
Score
Each company’s score is benchmarked against other companies in the same industry. Ratings range from Fast Mover or Committed, through Bronze, Silver, and Gold, up to Platinum. Only the top 1 percent of companies within an industry achieve the Platinum rating.
The EcoVadis rating is not a one off assessment that is reviewed every few years through an audit, but a continuous improvement process. Our goal is to improve our score on several key topics in 2026, so that in the next assessment in December we can move up a level and achieve the Bronze Medal. This would place us among the top 35 percent of all companies. A great challenge indeed.
